PAY: Based on Experience
About the Position
Our team is looking for a dependable Payroll & Administrative Clerk who enjoys balancing payroll responsibilities with general office support. You'll play an important role in maintaining accurate payroll records, assisting employees, and supporting day-to-day accounting and / or administrative operations.
Primary Responsibilities
- Prepare and process weekly payroll
- Review timekeeping records for accuracy
- Update employee payroll information
- Maintain payroll files and confidential records
- Prepare payroll reports and assist management with reporting requests
- Support payroll audits and reconciliations
- Assist with year-end payroll activities
- Help administer timekeeping systems and resolve discrepancies
- Provide administrative support to the accounting team
- Perform additional office duties as assigned
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate degree preferred
- Payroll experience preferred
- Familiarity with payroll software including ADP, Paychex, or similar systems
- Strong Microsoft Office skills with emphasis on Excel
- Accurate data entry and strong organizational abilities
- Ability to communicate effectively in English and Spanish
- Commitment to maintaining confidential information
