Commercial Sales Consultant – Concrete Construction
Coreslab Structures is seeking a Commercial Sales Consultant based out of the Marshalltown, IA Central Iowa feed to support business development.
This role focuses on building relationships within the commercial construction industry and supporting projects from early design through bid award. You will work closely with contractors, architects, engineers, and internal estimating teams to promote precast concrete solutions and support successful project delivery.
This is a field-based role with regular travel throughout Central Iowa.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain relationships with general contractors, architects, and engineers
- Identify and pursue commercial construction opportunities within the Marshalltown / Central Iowa market
- Support early-stage project development and design coordination discussions
- Partner with estimating teams on bid preparation and pricing strategy
- Track bid activity and maintain active pipeline reporting
- Present Coreslab precast solutions to prospective clients
- Assist in securing contracts and transitioning awarded work to project management teams
- Maintain ongoing customer relationships throughout project lifecycle
Qualifications
- Experience in construction sales, estimating, project coordination, or related field preferred
- Ability to read construction drawings
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Self-motivated and organized with ability to manage multiple priorities
- Willingness to travel throughout Central / Eastern Iowa region
